What is Microblading?

THIS IS THE PROCESS OF INFUSING PIGMENT INTO THE SKIN TO SIMULATE THE APPEARANCE OF NATURAL HAIR. IT IS CONSIDERED A TATTOO, AND PERMANENT MAKEUP. ALTHOUGH IT IS CONSIDERED PERMANENT MAKEUP, IT FADES OVER TIME. TOUCHUPS ARE SUGGESTED ONCE A YEAR IN ORDER TO KEEP THE COLOR FRESH AND SHAPE PRECISE.
MICROBLADING IS MEANT TO BE A SUBTLE NATURAL ENHANCEMENT, AND TO CREATE FULLER MORE BEAUTIFUL BROWS. IT LOOKS MOST NATURAL ON CLIENTS WHO ALREADY HAVE SEMI FULL BROW HAIR, AND ARE WANTING TO PERFECT THEIR SHAPE. THE MORE HAIR YOU HAVE, THE MORE NATURAL IT WILL APPEAR.
MICROBLADING HEALS BEST ON YOUNG, HEALTHY, AND DRY/NORMAL SKIN.
OILY SKIN AND AGING/THIN SKIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MICROBLADING. RESULTS WILL NOT HEAL AS WELL, OR LOOK AS NATURAL. IF YOU ARE IN THIS CATEGORY, YOU WOULD BE A BETTER CANDIDATE FOR THE COMBINATION OR OMBRE BROW.

What is an Ombre Powder Brow, Nano, and Combination Brows?

OMBRE PODWER BROWS IS THE PROCESS OF INFUSING PIGMENT INTO THE SKIN TO SIMULATE THE APPEARANCE OF FILLED-IN BROWS. THIS IS PERFECT FOR CLIENTS WHO ARE PERFECTIONISTS AND DESIRE A "MAKEUP LOOK"!!
NANO STROKES ARE FOR CLIENTS WHO DESIRE A NATURAL LOOK THAT MIMICS HAIR. THIS IS THE BEST TECHNIQUE FOR CLIENTS WHO HAVE OILY SKIN.
COMBINATION BROW IS DONE WITH HAIR STROKES AT THE HEAD OF THE BROW, AND THE REST FILLED IN. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL LOOK FOR ALL SKIN TYPES, AND HEALS VERY SOFT AND BEAUTIFUL.

What is a Permanent Eyeliner Tattoo?

If you live an active lifestyle, are visually challenged, don't have a steady hand, or short on time, eyeliner tattoo will enhance your eyes by defining the shape, creating lush-looking lashes, and making your eyes pop. This eyeliner tattoo is waterproof, frustration-free, perfectly defined. This eyeliner will save you time in front of a mirror, restore your confidence and give you the peace of mind knowing your eyeliner is there to stay all throughout the day.
You can choose between a subtle line in between your lashes, also known as Lash Enhancement, or a fuller, more dramatic line, know as a classic or smokey eye, you will be amazed and satisfied with the transformation.

What is a Permanent LIP BLUSH & NEUTRALIZATION?

If you are missing pigment in your lips, or have hyperpigmentation (darker tones) lips, then this is the service for you. I am able to create the perfect shape, define your lips, and create an even tone of color. This permanent makeup service lasts up to 5 years. I can provide many levels of saturation that you desire: a blush tone, a lipstick level of saturation, or neutralizing the lips to a soft, nude peach tone.

Avoid doing any of these before your procedure!

DOING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING WILL CAUSE EXCESSIVE BLEEDING DURING YOUR PROCEDURE AND WILL HINDER YOUR FINAL RESULT!!
DO NOT WORK OUT THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT.
YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE ANY MEDICATIONS THAT MAY THIN YOUR BLOOD (I.E. ASPIRIN, IBPROFEREN) 72 HOURS BEFORE OR IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOUR PROCEDURE.
DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL WITHIN 24 HOURS OF YOUR PROCEDURE.
AVOID CAFFEINE FOR 12 HOURS BEFORE YOUR PROCEDURE. (CAFFEINE INCREASES BLOOD FLOW AND WILL EFFECT YOUR HEALED RESULTS).

When should I book my first touchup?

WE WILL SCHEDULE YOUR INITIAL TOUCHUP 6-8 WEEKS AFTER YOUR INITIAL APPOINTMENT. THIS IS REQUIRED TO ENSURE THE HEALED RESULTS MEET BOTH OF OUR STANDARDS.

How long will my cosmetic tattoo last?

COSMETIC TATTOOING IS DESIGNED TO FADE OVER TIME. FACTORS SUCH AS SKIN TYPE, LIFESTYLE, AGE, METABOLISM, MEDICATIONS, AND PIGMENT COLOR AFFECT THE LONGEVITY OF THE TATTOO. THE SUN AND SOME KINDS OF LIGHTING (TANNING BEDS) CAN AFFECT THE RATE AT WHICH THESE PIGMENTS ARE BROKEN DOWN. TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR BROWS FOLLOW THE AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS AND TOUCH-UP YOUR BROWS EVERY 12-18 MONTHS (AS NEEDED). TOUCH-UPS ARE NORMAL AND EXPECTED FOR PERMANENT COSMETICS.
*PLEASE NOTE THAT FINAL RESULTS VARY AND CANNOT BE GUARANTEED DUE TO THE NATURE OF SKIN AS IT HEALS. A FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT IS RECOMMENDED AT 4-8 WEEKS WHERE WE CAN ASSESS YOUR PIGMENT RETENTION AND MAKE ANY CHANGES NECESSARY.*

What factors will affect my cosmetic tattoo?

OILY SKIN: INCREASED OIL PRODUCTION CAN CAUSE HAIRSTROKES TO BLUR AND HEAL LIGHTER AND POWDERY.
SMOKING: SMOKERS MAY NOTICE THAT THEIR SEMI-PERMANENT COSMETICS WILL FADE FASTER.
ANEMIA AND IRON DEFICIENCY: YOUR BODY WILL ABSORB THESE IRON BASED PIGMENTS MORE QUICKLY.
SUN EXPOSURE: INCREASED EXPOSURE TO THE SUN WILL CAUSE PREMATURE FADING. YOU WILL WANT TO USE A SPECIAL SUNSCREEN FOR YOUR SEMI-PERMANENT COSMETICS; I RECOMMEND COLOR GUARD. YOU CAN FIND IT ON AMAZON.
AGE AND METABOLISM. THE FASTER YOUR METABOLISM THE FASTER THE PIGMENT WILL FADE.
BLEEDING DURING THE PROCEDURE: EXCESSIVE BLEEDING DURING YOUR PROCEDURE WILL GREATLY AFFECT HOW YOUR BODY RETAINS PIGMENT. WHILE THIS IS NOT ENTIRELY IN OUR CONTROL, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU FOLLOW BEFORE CARE INSTRUCTIONS TO HELP MINIMIZE BLEEDING. THIS INCLUDES AVOIDING BLOOD THINNING MEDICATIONS, ALCOHOL, AND CAFFEINE 24 HOURS BEFORE YOUR PROCEDURE.

What will my home care be?

*WASH MORNING AND NIGHT FOR 7-10 DAYS WITH A GENTLE CLEANSER! WASH WITHIN 4 HOURS OF GETTING YOUR PERMANENT MAKEUP TATTOO DONE. (MAKE SURE TO WASH OUTSIDE SHOWER. LOOK IN THE MIRROR WHILE WASHING SO YOU CAN MAKE SURE TO BE EXTRA GENTLE. ONLY WIPE GENTLY IN THE DIRECTION OF HAIR GROWTH, NO CIRCLES OR HARD RUBBING. WASH WILL WARM OR COOL WATER, AND PAT DRY WITH CLEAN PAPER TOWEL).
*KEEP DRY (BESIDES WASHING) UNTIL COMPLETELY HEALED. AKA NO SCABBING OR FLAKING LEFT! USUALLY 10 DAYS.
LIPS SHOULD BE "GLOSSED WITH AQUAPHOR" ALL DAY LONG
CLIENTS STILL NEED TO KEEP DRY IN THE SHOWER... STEAMY HOT SHOWERS WILL CAUSE THE PORES TO OPEN AND SCABS SOFTEN, SO TO BE CAUTIOUS, NO EXTRA STEAMY HOT SHOWERS!! AVOID THE WATER ESPECIALLY SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER RUNNING DOWN.. THAT’LL CAUSE COLOR DISCOLORATION!
NO EXCESSIVE SWEATING
NO SAUNA, HOT TUB, POOL, OCEAN, ETC.
*DO NOT PICK, RUB, OR SCRATCH SCABS! AVOID SLEEPING ON FACE.
*AVOID DIRECT SUN EXPOSURE FOR 2 WEEKS
*NO ANTI AGING OR ACNE PRODUCTS ON THEM EVER!! WILL CAUSE FADING VERY QUICKLY. THIS IS ANYTHING WITH CHEMICAL EXFOLLIANTS SUCH AS RETINOL, GLYCOLIC ACID,SALISYLIC ACID, ETC.
*BALM 3 TIMES DAILY WITH Q-TIP! IF CLIENT IS OILY, 2 TIMES DAILY. USE THE BALM UNTIL IT’S GONE, USUALLY TAKES ABOUT 10 DAYS OR MORE!

Permanent Eyeliner Aftercare

Following the procedure, the area may be slightly puffy for 1-2 days. The wider the eyeliner, the more swelling to be expected. Avoid foods high in sodium and try to sleep somewhat propped up on your back for the first couple of nights to reduce puffiness.
NO water, cleansers, creams, makeup, or any other products on the treated area for one week.
DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring and loss of pigment.
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 3-4 weeks after the procedure.
Avoid hot, long showers, heavy sweating, pools, jacuzzis, and saunas for one week.
NO facials treatments or tinting for a month.
Avoid sleeping on your face for one week.
After the area has healed, you must use NEW mascara to avoid contamination.

Booking Fee Policy/ Canceling/ Rescheduling Appts.

In order to book your appointment, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit, which will be applied to any service scheduled. This will be collected via square invoice, venmo, zelle, or cash.
We also require a 48 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, regardless of the reason. If the 48 hour notice is not followed, then the non-refundable deposit is fully forfeited.

Contraindications for that prevent you from getting a cosmetic tattoo?

Pigment retention is NOT guaranteed. There is no way of knowing the results, however healthy skin with a proper skin care routine, healthy diet, hydration, and lots of rest will help ensure your skin heals with the best results.

Please follow this list of contraindications:

Are ill or not feeling well
No anti-biotics
Under 18 years of age
Cannot lay still on flat bed for 2 hours
No blood thinners
Pregnant or nursing
Botox or fillers 1 week prior
Sun exposure, sunburned skin will reject more pigment. No sun for 5 weeks after procedure
No Retin A or retinols, AHA's or BHA's, certain acne or anti-aging products, Rx topical creams, over-exfoliation, professional facial treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, micro-needling, lasers, or any other skin resurfacing on the face 2 weeks to 1 month before and after brow procedure.
No Accutane for 1 consecutive year before
if you have any lesions, irritation, or pimples.
Diabetes or any auto immune disease
Cancer
Chemotherapy/ radiation
Any cold sore or herpes outbreak
